Exit Poll 2024 Results Highlights: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA may cross the 400-mark, three different polls suggested on Saturday. Initially, most of the exit poll results showed that the NDA is set to win over 350 of the 543 seats in the 18th Lok Sabha Elections, however, it may fail to cross the 400-mark. Various polls also showed a huge win for the BJP in Karnataka. Meanwhile, India TV-CNX poll said the Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP and the NDA is likely to sweep Andhra Pradesh polls.
Exit Poll 2024: When and where to watch?
TV channels and websites started showcasing the exit poll data on June 1 post 6.30 PM. The Election Commission of India (ECI) had banned the publicising of exit polls till the voting process is over.
Meanwhile, simultaneous assembly elections were held in Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Sikkim. The results for Arunachal and Sikkim will be announced on June 2 while those for Andhra Pradesh and Odisha will be revealed on June 4.

School of Politics conducted CATI-based and AI-enabled opinion and exit polls. The sample size in each of the surveys is ~3000 per Lok Sabha summing up to close to 2 million samples across the country. The survey predicts around 367-403 seats for NDA, 129-161 seats for INDIA alliance and 7-18 seats for others.
According to Times Now-VMR poll in 2019, the NDA was predicted to win at least 306 seats while the UPA was expected to bag 132. The prediction was made with a margin of error of 3 for all projections.
The C-Voter Exit Polls in 2019 Lok Sabha elections had predicted a win for NDA with 287 seats, while the UPA was predicted to win only 128.
The India TV-CNX poll in 2019 had predicted 300 seats (plus or minus 10 seats) for the NDA and 120 seats (plus or minus 5) for the UPA.
Former CM and BJP leader Raman Singh has said that BJP is going to form the government with a clear majority and that the slogan of crossing 400-mark is going to become a reality on the ground.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, after the INDIA alliance meet, gave his prediction for the winners and losers of 18th Lok Sabha election results. He predicted INDIA Alliance to get 295+ seats and 220 seats for BJP. he further stated that the NDA alliance will get 235 seats. “INDIA alliance will form a strong and stable government on its own. (The PM face) will be decided on June 4,” he said.

Following the INDIA alliance leaders’ gathering in Delhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav declared that in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP will lose all its seats, and the INDIA alliance will secure the majority of seats. He stated that there was a wave of unemployment, rising prices, GST, CBI, ED, and Income Tax. He further added that all of this will come to an end.

The main point of the exit polls will be to figure out if the ruling BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) or the Opposition alliance INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) is expected to win.
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on May 31 took to X and urged the people to remain fully “alert, vigilant and cautious” during the voting today and also in the days after the voting.
