Tata Play has introduced a new platform service called Deiveegam, which is dedicated to Tamil devotional content. The service, powered by Shemaroo Entertainment, is available ad-free on channel #1593 for a daily subscription fee of Rs 2.
Deiveegam offers a range of Tamil devotional programming, including mythological shows such as Original Ramayan, Adhi Parasakthi, Uttar Ramayan, and Shri Krishna. The platform also features devotional music, daily astrology shows, and spiritual discourses by noted speakers including Sadhguru, Maraban Maindham Muttiah, Dr. Suresh T, and Tirupur Krishnan.
Subscribers will have access to a library of documentaries focusing on temples and deities of Tamil Nadu, live temple darshans, Tamil calendar services, and live pan-India events such as Tiruvanamalai Karthigai Deepam, Srirangam Pagal Pathu Ra Pathu, and Mahashivratri. Daily programming will include morning and evening aartis followed by astrology content hosted by Subash Balakrishnan.
The service is free for the first five days after subscription, after which a charge of Rs 2 per day applies. Tata Play subscribers can also access the content through the Tata Play Mobile App.
This initiative aims to provide a dedicated space for Tamil devotional content, catering to viewers seeking spiritual and cultural engagement.
