A recent release by mFilterIt stated that brands are increasing their stock availability by as much as five percent to match the calculated demand. Amazon Prime Day 2024 is anticipated to surpass the success that it achieved in 2023 where almost 23,000 orders were placed every minute. It also added that a large appliance was sold every two seconds during last year’s sale.
While a lot of platforms are conducting their monsoon sale, Amazon’s Prime Day sale is in the limelight due to their sale statistics of last year. The mFilterIt’s analysis also includes Amazon’s expansion that comes with more than 450 new products and expanding their reach into tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
The report has further revealed that brands are promoting their products by offering a higher discount of five to 10% than what they offer during non peak season. From what is understood, they tally this approach by increasing the advertising expedition and a 25 to 35% increase in the budget for sponsored activities.
