Achint Setia has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of Snapdeal, an e-commerce platform. It is understood that Setia brings nearly two decades of experience across e-commerce, media, telecom, and government services, having previously held senior roles at Zalora Group, Myntra, Viacom18, McKinsey & Co., and Microsoft. He holds an MBA in Strategy & Finance from the Indian School of Business and completed the Stanford GSB LEAD program in Corporate Innovation.

Meanwhile, Himanshu Chakrawarti, who has successfully led both Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands for the past three years, will now focus exclusively on driving growth at Stellaro Brands, a subsidiary of Acevector. Reportedly, Chakrawarti brings over 30 years of experience in retail, having worked with renowned companies such as Trent, Arvind, and Landmark Group.
