Shark Tank season 4 has created quite a buzz with current affairs and the startup ecosystem — why should the auto industry miss out? Out of the ten judges, or Sharks, from this year, some of them own notable cars, worthy of anyone’s garage dreams. They range from two-seater performance machines to ultra-luxury sedans and even SUVs. So here are some notable cars and who owns them.

Shark Tank Season 4: Cars

Mercedes-Benz GLS

Let’s start with the epitome of luxury SUVs — the Mercedes-Benz GLS. The luxury SUV is owned by Vineeta Singh, the Co-founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics. The 42-year-old owns multiple vehicles, including an XC90 and an Octavia. The highlight, however, is the GLS, which currently sells for Rs 1.33 crore, ex-showroom. The Mercedes-Benz GLS is powered by a 375bhp 3.0-litre petrol engine or a 362bhp 3.0-litre diesel engine.

BMW 7 Series

While the GLS is ‘the’ luxury SUV one would want, the BMW 7 Series is the sedan equivalent to the GLS, just that it’s made by the rival German carmaker, BMW. The 7 Series is currently priced at Rs 1.81 crore onwards, ex-showroom and two judges own the BMW 7 Series — Aman Gupta, the Co-founder and CMO of boAt Lifestyle and Peyush Bansal, the Founder of Lenskart.

Porsche 718 Boxster

Let’s move to performance. The first on the list is a Porsche, the Boxster 718 in particular. The two-seater is owned by Azhar Iqubal, the Founder and CEO of inShorts. The Boxster 718’s last recorded price in India was Rs 1.76 crore and the car drew power from a 295 bhp four-cylinder engine. The 32-year-old IIT graduate also owns a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

Lamborghini Huracan

The juiciest car of all vehicles owned by the Shark Tank judges is the Huracan, owned by none other than Anupam Mittal, the CEO of Shaadi.com. The Huracan is powered by a 572bhp V10 and can accelerate from 0–100kmph in 3.2 seconds while costing a cool Rs 3.6 crore price tag. Mittal also owns other cars made by BMW, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz.
