The last seven months have been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride for the Cricket Captain of India, Rohit Sharma. From losing the one-day international World Cup final in November last year to storming to the T20 World Cup final, the Hitman has gone through lows and highs as a skipper. Even though he was forced to relinquish his captaincy for the Indian Premier League franchise, Mumbai Indians, the 2024 season was a nightmare as the five-time title winners finished at the bottom of the table.
Predominantly an SUV fan, Rohit Sharma has recently decided to add a luxurious sedan to his luxurious garage. Here’s a look at his car collection.
Mercedes-Benz S-ClassÂ

The new kid in the Hitman’s garage is the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which is considered as one of the best luxury sedans in the world. Currently, the German manufacturer is offering two versions of the S-Class, the S350d and S450. According to reports, Sharma owns the S350d, which has a 2.9-litre inline 4 diesel engine with an output of 282 bhp and 600 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. What is interesting to note is that the sedan is based on an all-wheel-drive system. It does 0-100 kmph in 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph. The S350d costs Rs 1.77 crore, ex-showroom.
Lamborghini Urus

Rohit Sharma owns a Lamborghini, but for practical reasons without sacrificing performance, he has opted for the power-packed SUV, the Urus. The Lamborghini SUV sports is registered under a special 0264 number. This also happens to be Sharma’s highest score in one-day international, which he scored against Sri Lanka in November 2014. The Hitman was recently in the news for receiving a speeding challan on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The Urus is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 with 657 bhp and 850 Nm which is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This AWD SUV does 0-100 kmph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 305 kmph. The Urus starts from Rs 4.18 crore, ex-showroom.
Mercedes-Benz GLS

In 2022, Indian cricket teammates Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav bought the Mercedes-Benz GLS. The company is offering the SUV in two trims — the GLS 450 petrol and the GLS 450 diesel. The petrol engine is a 3-litre engine with 375 bhp and 500 Nm and is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The diesel version also gets a 3-litre powertrain with an output of 362 bhp and 750 Nm. The GLS petrol is priced at Rs 1.32 crore and the diesel costs Rs 1.37 crore, ex-showroom.
Range Rover

No celebrity’s garage is complete without a Range Rover which remains the same for Rohit Sharma. He owns an HSE LWB trim which gets a 3-litre twin-turbo diesel under the hood. It has a maximum output of 346 bhp and 700 Nm and mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. According to the company, the diesel SUV is capable of doing 0-100 kmph in 6.3 seconds with a top speed of 234 kmph. This trim costs Rs 2.80 crore, ex-showroom.
