Renault Kwid, one of the most-awaited cars to hit Indian roads in recent times, is on its way to customers who booked it in advance, company says. The Kwid, an entry level hatchback, which was launched in India by the French carmaker weeks ago at an affordable starting price of Rs 2.57 lakh (ex-showroom) is going to cost a little more after adding the necessary costs. The waiting list for the Renault Kwid is long and stretches up to 2 months as the car was able to gather a good 25,000 bookings.
The deliveries are initially focused in the metro cities and other cities can expect the hatchback in the coming weeks.
As confirmed by a dealer in Jaipur, Renault Kwid, if booked now, can be expected to be delivered in mid-January.
The Renault Kwid was launched on September 24 and since then, the bookings have started piling up.
