The Chevrolet Sail measures 4,249 mm in length, 1,690 mm in width, 1,503 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,465 mm. All variants of the sedan are offered with body coloured front and rear bumpers while the higher versions also get body coloured door handles, chrome accents on the fog lamps, full wheel covers and roof antenna.

The Chevrolet Sail is offered with a dual tone interior colour option which includes a dual tone dashboard and door panels. The upholstery is in a single beige colour. The higher versions of the Chevrolet Sail are offered with a factory fitted audio system compatible with Bluetooth.

Powering the Chevrolet Sail is the option of a 1,199 cc petrol engine and a 1,248 cc diesel unit. The petrol engine generates 82 hp of power at 6,000 rpm and 108.5 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The diesel motor produces 74 hp of power at 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm.
