US President Trump has announced that he will buy a brand new Tesla to support Musk. In a tweet, Trump said, “putting it on the line” to help the nation through his work with DOGE, claiming he’s doing a “FANTASTIC JOB.”

Tesla and Musk have been facing backlash in recent times, ever since Musk started taking over some of the important aspects in Trump’s governance, leading to job losses and contract cancellations.
Recently, there have been multiple vandalising acts on Tesla vehicles, the most recent being four Cybertrucks that were gutted in the fire. The investigation is ongoing and the fire department has confirmed that nobody was hurt. The incident has not been confirmed as an act of vandalisation.
A few days ago, someone opened fire at a Tesla dealership and the FBI is investigating the car alongside the police department. Prior to this incident, a woman was arrested in Colorado for vandalising a Tesla dealership.
