For the first time, the production-ready Tata Harrier EV was spotted testing without any camouflage wrap. The test mule was sporting a dual-tone white and black colour combination. Tata Motors unveiled the Harrier EV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Show. Here’s what we know so far about this new electric SUV.
Tata Harrier EV: Design
The Harrier EV gets a new all-enclosed front fascia with a nose sporting four horizontal creases. The front bumpers have been tweaked as it houses vertical slats. It comes with a new set of alloy wheels similar to the recently launched Harrier Stealth Edition. The SUV was not wearing the usual. EV badges are found on other Tata electric vehicles, but these are expected to be included in the final production model.
Tata Harrier EV: Cabin
Harrier EV’s cabin layout is similar to its internal combustion engine version and gets a 12.3-inch infotainment system from Harman and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The Harrier EV comes with a four-spoke steering wheel with a back lid Tata logo. The other features available are a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 7 airbags, a Level 2 ADAS suite and a 360-degree camera.
Tata Harrier EV: All-Wheel-Drive
Tata Motors has confirmed that the Harrier will be available with an all-wheel-drive system, which is expected to get a twin motor set up with a torque of around 500Nm. This will be a first for Tata Motors and the segment. The upcoming EV could be priced at Rs 30 lakh and will compete against the Mahindra XEV 9e.
