New Bajaj Chetak 2024 India Launch Live: Bajaj has launched the updated range of Chetak EV in India, the 35-Series, with prices starting at Rs 1.20 lakh, ex-showroom. The Bajaj Chetak 35 series consist of three variants, and the new Chetak gets a new chassis, along with a host of changes to make it more practical. They also offer a larger boot space.
Changes are not limited to the chassis alone, as the scooter gets a new 3.5kWh battery pack that offers 153km range, more than the previous generation scooters that will be phased out soon. The Chetak also gets an onboard charger now, and the battery can be charged from 0–80% in three hours. Bajaj has also updated the feature list and the TFT instrument console.
The biggest talk point is the entry-level Chetak, which gets steel wheels, drum brakes, and a smaller battery pack. Bajaj has not revealed much details about theis entry-level variant and it will go on sale at a later point of time. The newly launched Chetak variants are now available for bookings and deliveries will start at the end of December.
