Mahindra has officially commenced bookings for the BE 6 and XEV 9e, its latest electric SUVs in India. So far, the company has manufactured 2,281 units of the SUVs and despatched 1,837 units to its dealers. Launched last month, Mahindra recently announced prices for the entire variant range of the BE 6 and XEV 9e.
Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e: Pricing
The Mahindra BE 6 starts at Rs 18.90 lakh ex-showroom, while the larger XEV 9e starts at Rs 21.90 lakh, ex-showroom. The BE 6 is available in five variants, while the XEV 9e is available in four variants. The detailed pricing is as follows.

Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e: Battery specifications
Both vehicles are available with a choice of two battery packs — 59kWh and 79kWh. The former offers a range of 557km and the latter delivers a range of 682km on the BE 6, while the same battery pack options return a range of 542km and 656km, respectively in the XEV 9e.

The Mahindra BE 6 competes directly with the Tata Curvv EV in India, while the Mahindra XEV 9e has no direct competition. However, at its price range, the XEV 9e has other rivals in the form of the BYD Atto 3 and the Tata Harrier EV, which will soon be launched.
