Bajaj Chetak Electric has received over 20,000 bookings in July. According to the two-wheeler company, the high demand is due to the recently launched and more affordable Chetak 2901 and the dealership network expansion in Tier II cities. Currently, Chetak Electric is now available at 2000 outlets across the country.
Bajaj Chetak 2901: Specs
The Chetak 2901 is the entry-level model in the lineup and is priced at Rs 95,998, ex-showroom Bengaluru. It is powered by a 4.2 kW electric motor and a battery capacity of 2.88 kWh. It charges from 0 to 100 per cent in six hours and has a top speed of 63 kmph. Bajaj Auto claims that it offers a range of 123 km on a single charge.Â
Bajaj Chetak 2901: Features
The Chetak 2901 is available in two trims — Standard and Tech Pac. The former variant only gets a single mode — Eco. The top model gets both Eco and Sports ride modes, hill hold assist and reverse mode. The Tech Pac offers additional smart features like Bluetooth app connectivity, call management, music control and geo-fencing. The Tech Pack costs an additional Rs 3000 over the Standard model. The Chetak 2901 is available in five colours — Red, White, Black, Lime Yellow and Azure Blue.
Bajaj Auto is offering the Chetak Electric in three broad variants — the Chetak 2901, Chetak Premium and Chetak Urbane.
