The festive season is on our heads and it is time when the consumer market is booming across all industries including auto. To lure customers even further, auto OEMs offer hefty discounts on their products for these three months. This is common for both passenger vehicles and two-wheelers.
Yamaha has announced a set of offers for three of its models– the FZ range, Fascino and Ray ZR. Besides discounts, Yamaha is also offering lowered minimum down payments for these models.
Yamaha festive discounts
The Japanese brand is offering cashback of up to Rs 7,000 in addition to a lowered down payment of Rs 7,999 on FZ-S Fi Ver 4.0, FZ-S Fi Ver 3.0, and FZ Fi. On the other hand, Yamaha is offering a cashback of up to Rs 4,000 in addition to a Low-down payment of Rs 2,999 on Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid and RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid range of scooters. Yamaha hasn’t made any other changes in any of these models mentioned above.
Powering the Yamaha FZ series is an air-cooled, 149cc, single-cylinder engine, which produces 12 bhp at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. The engine powers the rear wheels through a 5-speed gearbox. On the other hand, Yamaha RayZR and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid are powered by the same air-cooled, 125cc, single-cylinder engine, which produces 8.2hp at 6,500rpm and 10.3Nm of torque at 5000 rpm.
Yamaha’s last launch in India were the R3 and the MT-03 which hit the Indian roads in December last year. While the R3 is priced at Rs 4.65 lakh and, MT-03 costs Rs 4.60 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). Both models come to India as CBUs.
