The Hyundai Creta N Line is the sportiest option in the segment, with tweaked suspension, a powerful engine, and a throaty exhaust. However, if you’re looking for something similar but not a Hyundai, what else is available? The answer is the Kia Seltos X Line, which has a similar recipe and comes from the same South Korean manufacturer. Here’s how they compare.
Creta N Line vs Seltos X Line: Platform and design

Both vehicles, the new Hyundai Creta N Line and the Seltos X Line are based on the same platform, as they are sister companies. However, they feature different looks in terms of design. The Creta N Line is based on the new Hyundai Creta but gets a sportier grille and red accents to enhance its sporty nature.

The Kia Seltos X Line is based on the Seltos facelift, which was launched in India last year. The Kia Seltos has always carried a sportier design compared to the Creta and the X Line’s Matte Graphite paint job gives it a premium look. Also, the X Line gets dual exhaust tips, while the Creta N Line also gets the same.
Creta N Line vs Seltos X Line: Engine specifications
Both SUVs, the Creta N Line and the Seltos X Line are powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, mated to either a manual or a DCT gearbox. This is the same engine that powers the regular versions of the Creta and Seltos, while also powering the Hyundai Alcazar and Kia Carens. One advantage the Seltos has over the Creta is the option of a diesel engine with the X Line.
