Volkswagen intends to extend their Polo line-up even further with a new Polo variant, slated to be called the Highline Plus. This variant will available on both the 1.2 litre,75 hp petrol Polo petrol and 1.5 litre 90 hp diesel. The added top-end variant will cost around Rs. 25,000 above that of the Highline in both petrol and diesel bring the retail value on the petrol up to 7.24 lakh and the diesel variant up to Rs 8.78 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). However, it is important to note that VW is offering a Rs. 50,000 cash discount on all top of the line Polos for the month of July. This means that while you are still buying a car with more features you can expect to pay about Rs. 25,000 less than what you would have otherwise paid for the Highline.
What you get for you money is16-inch alloy wheels, an upgraded infotainment system and a reverse parking camera.
