Sunroofs in vehicles have become the latest hot-selling features and vehicles in the sub-4 metre segment have also started offering them, especially SUVs. Some carmakers even offer panoramic sunroofs, and here are the most affordable compact SUVs in India on sale right now with a sunroof.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza

Starting with the most expensive and the fifth most affordable SUV on the list, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The SUV was the first vehicle in Maruti Suzuki’s lineup to get a sunroof, and the Brezza has racked up a lot of new customers owing to it. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza carries a price tag of Rs 8.34 lakh onwards ex-showroom, and the sunroof option is offered on the ZXi trims. 

Tata Nexon

Next up, is the Tata Nexon, one of India’s best-selling vehicles, that is offered with multiple power trains, including an all-electric version. The Nexon is priced at Rs 8.14 lakh onwards, and the sunroof option is available on the Smart + S version onwards. The Tata Nexon’s sunroof is voice-activated, while it offers a long list of features and over 50 variants to choose from. 

Kia Sonet

The Kia Sonet is probably the best-looking sub-4 metre SUV on sale today, owing to its muscular design. Available with two petrol engines and a diesel engine, the Sonet is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh onwards (ex-showroom), while the sunroof feature is available on the HTE(O) variant onwards. 

Hyundai Venue

The Hyundai Venue is another good-seller for the carmaker and shares the same platform as the Venue, as well as the engines and gearbox choices. However, the Venue is priced slightly less than the Sonet at Rs 7.94 lakh onwards, ex-showroom. Hyundai offers an electric sunroof feature on the S+ and S(O) versions onwards, while there is also a voice-activated version from the SX variant onwards.

Mahindra XUV 3XO

Topping the list is the newest vehicle in the segment, the Mahindra XUV 3XO, which is priced at Rs 7.49 lakh onwards, ex-showroom. The 3XO gets a panoramic sunroof, which is a first in the segment, while also getting ADAS Level 2, another first in the segment.
