Tesla is finally here in India, and interested customers can book the Model Y from pretty much any part of India. The official website confirms registration in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Gurugram will be prioritised for delivery. After launching its first dealership in Mumbai, the Elon Musk-led electric vehicle company has its eyes set on its Delhi debut. The National Capital will house the Tesla experience centre, which is currently being set up at the Aerocity near the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, as we speak (or type). So the million-dollar question is, when will the dealership open? The Tesla dealership will open its doors in August. A tech and electric vehicle enthusiast, Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), posted an image of the Tesla Delhi centre under construction on social media.

Tesla’s setup in India currently includes two dealerships, a warehouse in Kurla, and an engineering and corporate office in Pune and Bengaluru, respectively.
