Meet the new kid on the block that joins the exotic garage of the Dubai Police’s fleet, the Tesla Cybertruck. For some, it may be an eyesore especially when the Dubai Police owns one of the world’s most fast and furious fleets including Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, Ferrari FF, Bugatti Veyron and Lamborghini Aventador to name a few. The Cybertruck also showcases the city’s commitment to adopting new ecological sustainability methods and embracing new cutting-edge technology. The Cybertruck isn’t the first all-electric vehicle to join the police force as the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 was recently acquired.
Tesla Cybertruck: To serve and protect
Dubai Police upload the images of the Tesla Cybertruck in its official green and white colours escorting none other than Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The Cybertruck paved the way forward as the pilot vehicle ahead of the Mercedes-AMG G63.
The Dubai Police posted on its official X profile (Former Twitter), “The Dubai Police General Command has added the Tesla Cybertruck, the modern electric car with a futuristic design, to its tourist police luxury patrol fleet.” As expected, the co-founder and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, replied to the post by saying ‘Cool” with an emoji with sunglasses.

Many may not remember this, but when Tesla unveiled the Cybertruck in 2019, the Dubai Police Force posted on a social media platform that the all-electric truck would be in their fleet in 2020. They also uploaded a rendered image of the Cybertruck in green and white official colours from its X account.
