Tata Tiago CNG AMT and Tigor CNG AMT: What to expect?

Tata Motors is all set to introduce automatic manual transmission (AMT) technology in the CNG segment for the first time in India. The company has opened the bookings for both the Tiago iCNG AMT and Tigor iCNG AMT at Rs 21,000. The customer can book the CNG vehicle at the nearest Tata Motors dealership or on the official website. 

Tata Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG AMT: Variants

The Tiago CNG will be available in three variants — XTA CNG, XZA+ CNG & XZA NRG missing out on a dual-tone coloured option which the CNG manual offers. On the other hand, its sedan sibling, the Tigor CNG comes in two trims — XZA CNG & XZA+ CNG like its CNG manual version. Apart from this, Tata Motors has also introduced a new Tornado Blue colour in the Tiago, Grassland Beige in Tiago NRG and a Meteor Bronze in the Tigor.

Tata Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG AMT: Specs and Features

Both the Tiago CNG and the Tigor CNG AMT trims are powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns out 85bhp and 113Nm in petrol mode and 72bhp and 95Nm in CNG. Now with the AMT, the CNG duo will be economical to run and add an effortless driving experience. Both the Tiago and the Tigor CNG come with a single ECU for a seamless shifting experience from CNG to petrol and they can be directly started in CNG mode. Both are first in the segment.
