The Citroen Basalt is an anticipated launch, as the C3 Aircross-based SUV will compete directly against the Tata Curvv, another highly anticipated car launch from Tata Motors. While many details have been revealed, the interior of the Basalt has been under wraps for a long time, until now.

Citroen Basalt: Interior and features
In a teaser video by Citroen, the Basalt’s interior reveals a lot of similarities to the C3 Aircorss. The cabin gets a five-seater configuration with the rear seats getting a fixed headrest with an armrest and cup holders. The interior is finished in light beige, giving the cabin an airy feel.
In terms of features, the new Citroen Basalt will get a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, navigation, and more. Other features include automatic AC, wireless charging, a digital instrument cluster, and more. Safety features will also be on similar lines to the C3 Aircross.
Powering the Citroen Basalt will be the same engine that does its duty on the C3 Aircross — a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 102bhp and 205Nm of torque with the help of a six-speed manual or an automatic.
