Tata Curvv petrol, diesel dual-clutch automatic variants prices out

Tata Curvv competes against other compact C-segment SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate to name a few.

Tata Motors recently launched the internal combustion engine (ICE)-powered Curvv in the market at an impressive starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the homegrown carmaker had withheld the prices of a few variants of the coupe SUV. The company has now announced prices of the dual clutch automatic (DCA) variants of Curvv.

Tata Curvv ICE is available in a total of eight variants: Smart, Pure+, Pure+ S, Creative, Creative S, Creative+ S, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ A. The coupe SUV is available in six colour options namely Gold Essence, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, Pure Grey and Opera Blue.

Prices for the petrol DCA variants start at Rs 12.50 lakh for the Revotron turbocharged unit and Rs 16.50 lakh for the Hyperion turbocharged unit. On the other hand, diesel DCR variants of Curvv start at Rs 14.00 lakh and go up to Rs 19.00 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Details of all prices are mentioned in the table below.

Tata Curvv powertrain specs

As mentioned earlier, the Tata Curvv ICE is available with three engine options. The 1.2-litre petrol engine makes 118bhp and 170 Nm of torque, mated to a manual or Tata’s dual clutch automatic gearbox. The 1.5-litre diesel mill makes 115 bhp and 260 Nm of torque, which again gets the same gearbox options.

The latest entrant in Tata’s lineup is a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol direct injection engine, called the Hyperion. This new unit delivers 123 bhp and 225 Nm of peak torque and can be had with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
