Skoda has launched the Slavia Style Edition in India, in limited numbers, priced at Rs 19.13 lakh, ex-showroom. The new variant is based on the top-of-the-line Style variant of the Slavia, commanding Rs 30,000 more, and will be limited to just 500 examples, making it exclusive.
The new Skoda Slavia Style Edition will be available in Candy White, Brilliant Silver and Tornado Red colours, while it gets features such as a dual dash camera, ‘Edition’ badge on the blacked-out B-pillars and roof foil among others.
Powering the new Slavia Style Edition is the 1.5-litre TSI engine mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The engine makes 148bhp and 250Nm of torque, which is the same unit that powers its sibling from Volkswagen, the Virtus.
The Skoda Slavia competes with the Virtus, Hyundai Verna, Honda City, and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in the segment, and is the best-seller for Skoda in India.
