Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge: Exterior & Interior changes

It is the first all-electric model in the Rolls-Royce lineup to receive the Black Badge treatment. The Black Badge treatment has resulted in a premium of Rs 1.50 crore over the standard Spectre. Distinctive design elements include a darker treatment for the Pantheon grille, Spirit of Ecstasy, Rolls-Royce emblem, door handles, window surrounds, and bumper highlights.

Buyers can also opt for 23-inch, five-spoke forged aluminium wheels, available in either a part-polished or full black finish. A unique grille backplate allows customers to personalise the grille’s colour, adding another layer of exclusivity.

Inside, the cabin features the signature infinity logo on the passenger side of the dashboard, part of what Rolls-Royce calls the Illuminated Fascia. This intricate display comprises 5,500 stars of varying size and brightness set against a Piano Black background, evoking a starlit sky. The digital instrument cluster offers five customisable colour themes, allowing drivers to tailor the display to their preferences. The Spectre Black Badge also debuts Rolls-Royce’s latest operating system, aptly named ‘Spirit’.

Rolls Royce Spectre Black Badge: Mechanical specs

The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre boasts an impressive four-figure torque output of 1,075 Nm and a class-leading 650 bhp of power, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. This makes it the most powerful Rolls Royce till date. To ensure that drivers can fully exploit this formidable performance, Rolls-Royce’s chassis engineers have implemented a series of precision enhancements.

Steering weight has been increased to provide greater feedback and control, while advanced roll stabilisation reduces body roll during cornering. Upgraded dampers further refine body control, effectively minimizing squat under hard acceleration and nose dive during braking. These meticulous adjustments deliver an ideal balance between dynamic engagement and the effortless, refined ride quality that defines the brand’s signature Magic Carpet Ride experience.
