Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors commercial vehicles have announced price hikes across their lineups due to the rising costs. The new prices will come into effect from April 1, 2025.
Maruti Suzuki: Third price hike in 2025
Maruti Suzuki has confirmed another price revision for its vehicles. Due to rising input costs and operational expenses, the company has been forced to adjust prices for the third time this year. Maruti Suzuki has yet to disclose the exact percentage increase. As of now, the company has confirmed that the price hike will vary based on the model and variant.
In an official statement, Maruti Suzuki stated that the company has been actively optimizing costs to minimize the impact on customers, but the continuous rise in material and manufacturing costs has made further adjustments necessary.

Tata Motors: 2% price hike for commercial vehicles
Tata Motors commercial vehicle segment has announced a price increase of up to 2% on its entire commercial vehicle range starting April 2025. The hike comes as the company faces increasing raw material costs, logistics expenses, and manufacturing overheads.

“Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, today announced a price increase of up to 2%, across its commercial vehicle range, effective 1st April 2025. The price increase is to offset the rise in input costs, and will vary as per individual model and variant,” according to the official statement.
