Good news for audiophiles! Pioneer India has launched a new range of enclosed subwoofers. The TS-WX306T is a tube type woofer, while TS-WX306B is a box type enclosure and both are available at a reasonable price of Rs 7,990. For better sound quality, the company is also offering a two channel amplifier GM-A3702, at a price of Rs 4,990, a release stated.
The TS-WX306B and TS-WX-306T share the same driver unit and can handle an input of 1,300 wattage and can deliver the RMS ( Root Mean Square) value upto 350 watts. The two speakers are made up of the Voice Coil Cooling system that helps in keeping control on heat dissipation. This feature is claimed to improve the durability and sound from the woofer.
Sumit Dudeja, Product Planner, Pioneer India Electronics said, ‘Pioneer has a long historyand expertise in sound reproduction. We have always produced best in class car speakers with amazing sound clarity.In current times when most of the cars are pre-fitted with music systems and speakers, one thing that’s missing is that extra bass. This can only be fulfilled by adding a subwoofer to the car. Pioneer’s new box subwoofer is sealed type & focuses on providing tight punch in the car, whereas the tube subwoofer is ported type & focused towards louder bass. Another major difference between the two is the space consumption. The box subwoofer consumes lesser space in the boot.’
