Online e-commerce shopping has come a long way. Initially limited to a handful of lifestyle and essential commodities, the online retail world has transformed dramatically over the last few decades. Until a couple of years ago, nobody would have imagined buying vehicles through e-commerce platforms and now even that is possible.
Flipkart, one of the largest e-commerce platforms in India, got the stone rolling with prominent two-wheeler brands like Hero, Bajaj, and TVS selling their respective products on the e-commerce website. The latest additions to this list are KTM and Triumph, both brands operating in India through Bajaj Auto’s partnership.
Starting April 1, KTM and Triumph motorcycles will be available for sale through Flipkart. This includes 11 made-in-India products — eight KTM and three Triumph models — manufactured by Bajaj Auto. All bikes listed on the website carry the ex-showroom price, not inclusive of any discounts.
