As the drum roll begins for the launch of the most awaited SUV of the year, the Thar Roxx, Mahindra has released a new teaser that showcased some features inside the cabin. The Indian automobile manufacturer has confirmed that the launch of the Thar Roxx will take place on August 15, just like the current three-door Thar. Here are the following features that have been revealed.
Digital instrument cluster
The new Mahindra Thar Roxx sports an all-digital driver’s console with multiple information like tyre pressure monitor system, fuel gauge with drive range, and different display themes. The instrument could be 10.25-inch in size similar to the 3X0 and also showcase the navigation.
The latest teaser has confirmed that the Thar Roxx will come equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), similar to the 3X0 and XUV700. The Thar Roxx will feature adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking for cyclists, pedestrians, and vehicles, forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, and lane-keeping assist, among others. Additionally, it will include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and disc brakes on all four wheels.
Infotainment system
The Thar Roxx will feature a 10.25-inch infotainment system, offering wireless connectivity options such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition to its high-definition display, the touchscreen will include voice command capabilities. Consistent with the latest Mahindra vehicles, the Thar Roxx will be equipped with Adrenox technology, providing a range of functionalities including alerts, safety features, and location-based services.
Panoramic Sunroof
Following in the footsteps of the 3X0 and the flagship XUV700, the Thar Roxx will be packed with convenient features like a panoramic sunroof. This not only enhances the cabin’s airiness and spaciousness with natural lighting but is also a favoured feature among customers. The entry-level variants might be offered with a single-panel sunroof.
Ventilated Seats
Mahindra is positioning the Thar Roxx as a premium 4×4 vehicle. The high-end variant will feature a dashboard with a leather finish and a steering wheel wrapped in leather. For comfort, it will include front-ventilated seats and advanced dual-zone climate control. Additionally, the Thar Roxx will be equipped with a premium Harman Kardon sound system.
