Year end is a time when auto OEMs and dealerships are working round the clock to clear existing stock of cars and two-wheelers. Hence, automakers offer hefty discounts to lure potential customers into their showrooms. Consumers also wait patiently for this period so that they can avail some attractive discounts.
The latest car manufacturer to offer sizable year-end discounts is MG Motor. The Chinese-owned British carmaker is offering hefty discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh across its entire product range. This offer is applicable up to 31 December 2023.
MG Astor, ZS EV discounts
MG is offering Astor and its all-electric sibling ZS EV discounts with benefits up to Rs 1 lakh. This includes an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. Prices for Astor start at Rs 10.82 lakh and go up to Rs 18.69 lakh, while ZS EV is priced between Rs 22.88 lakh and Rs 26.00 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
MG Hector, Hector Plus discounts
MG is offering benefits of Rs 50,000 in addition to exchange bonus of Rs 50,000 for the Hector range which includes the 5-seater Hector and the 6- and 7-seater Hector Plus. The former is priced at Rs 15-22 lakh whereas the latter is priced between Rs 17.80 lakh and Rs 22.73 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
MG Comet EV, Gloster discounts
MG is offering its entry-level electric car Comet with benefits of up to Rs 65,000. The all-electric micro tallboy hatch comes at a price tag between Rs 7.98 lakh and Rs 10.63 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).
The carmaker’s flagship offering Gloster can be availed with benefits up to Rs 1.0 lakh. This includes an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. The large D-segment SUV is priced at Rs. 38.80–43.87 lakh (ex-showroom).
