Mercedes-Benz recorded a significant 73 percent YoY growth in YTD May 2025. On this occasion, the German marque launched a special edition model of the EQS 580 4Matic sedan. Called the “Celebration Edition”, only 50 units of this limited edition EQS 580 4Matic will be produced.
Priced at Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom), this special edition model comes with a few additional conveniences over the standard EQS 580 4Matic that makes it a more luxurious offering. However, the exterior and interior design of the all-electric sedan remains unchanged.
Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic Celebration Edition: What’s new?
Mercedes says that the Celebration Edition of the EQS 580 focuses on rear seat comfort with the addition of features such as the new multi-contoured rear seats that offer massage and lumbar support. Moreover, the seats are reclinable up to 38 degrees. Further, the seats are wrapped in Nappa leather upholstery as standard. As part of the Chauffeur Package, the Celebration Edition adds electronically tiltable front seats.

The Celebration Edition of the EQS 580 comes equipped a triple screen setup on the dashboard (including a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 17.7-inch OLED infotainment system and a 12.3-inch passenger display), and a rear-seat entertainment dual 11.6-inch rear displays as well as a 7-inch tablet.
Other notable features available in the EQS 580 include coloured augmented reality (AR) based heads up display (HUD), electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, 4-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone chargers, multi-colour ambient lighting and heated and ventilated seats.
The flagship electric sedan offers a comprehensive suite of safety features, including multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, parking and steering assist, rear parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It also comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which incorporate functions such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and driver attention monitoring, among others.
Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic Celebration Edition: Powertrain
Powering the EQS 580 4Matic is a dual-motor setup comprising two permanent synchronous electric motors, which deliver a peak output of 516 bhp and 855 Nm of torque. The motors draw energy from a 108 kWh that promises a range of 817 km (ARAI) on a single charge. As for performance, the EQS 580 4Matic can clock an electronically limited top speed of 210 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.3 seconds.
