May will see a series of launches of different types vehicles. Starting with a new-generation MPV to updated EVs and a premium sporty hatchback that will have limited presence, but this month promises to heat up the temperature in the automobile sector. Following are the vehicles that the worth checking out.
Kia Clavis
Unveil: May 21, 2025
Kia has confirmed that the new version of the Carens will be named Clavis and the online unveil will take place on May 8. The price reveal will be on June 2. The new MPV sports L-shaped LED DRLs, a three pod headlights and a sliver colour faux bash plate.

The recently shared teaser from Kia confirms that the Clavis will come equipped with Level 2 ADAS along with a 360-degree camera, six airbags etc. It is expect to come with panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 10.25 inch driver’s console. The new MPV will offer three engine powertrains — petrol, turbo petrol and diesel.Â
2025 Tata Altroz
Launch: May 21, 2025
Tata Altroz is gearing up for an all-important facelift. The exterior will get minor updates like the bumpers, new set of alloy wheels and new features. The cabin is expected to be spruced up with a new steering wheel and improved interiors. The hatchback will continue to be powered in multiple powertrains — CNG, naturally aspirated petrol, turbo petrol and diesel. It is the only hatchback in the market to be available with a diesel engine.

MG Windsor EV Long Range

Based on media reports, JSW MG is going to update the Windsor EV with a bigger battery that will offer a longer driving range. Based on the parent company, SAIC’s Wuling Cloud EV, the Windsor EV is expected to get a 50.6 kWh battery, along with the current 38 kWh battery.

MG is expected to continue using the front-wheel-drive PMS motor, delivering 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 170 kmph. The Windsor is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.6 seconds.
Volkswagen Golf GTI
Launch: May
Volkswagen will launch its second GTI in India after the Polo GTI. The German manufacturer has confirmed that the Golf GTI will make its presence in the market and will be a direct import.

The sporty hatchback will be powered by a 2-litre turbo petrol engine with an output of 261 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. The GTI will offer handling prowess like no other hatchback in the Indian market.
