Maserati has unleashed the Grecale in India starting at Rs 1.31 crore, ex-showroom. The Grecale is the Italian automobile manufacturer’s compact SUV and is slotted below the Levante. Maserati had last year announced that they would launch the Grecale in 2024. The SUV is made in Italy and has entered the Indian market via the CBU route.
Maserati Grecale: Engine Specs
Grecale is available in three variants with three engine trims. Starting from GT, the entry-level variant is powered by a 2-litre 4-cylinder mild hybrid engine with an output of 296 bhp and 450 Nm. According to Maserati, the GT does 0 – 100 kmph in 5.6 seconds. The Modena gets the same powertrain but with a tuned output of 325 bhp and 450 Nm and does from standstill to 100 kmph in 5.3 seconds.

The top-of-the-line Trofeo gets a bigger and more powerful 3-litre V6 turbo with 528 bhp and 620 Nm. The Maserati SUV manages 0-100kmph in 3.8 seconds. All three variants come mated with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with the option to update to an optional air suspension.Â
Maserati Grecale: Features
The Grecale gets plenty of tech and features starting from a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system and an 8.8-inch central console touchscreen that doubles up as climate control functions. The GT gets a dual-zone climate control while the other two trims get a three-zone climate control. The Grecale also comes with Level 1 ADAS.

Maserati Grecale: Price and Competition
The Grecale is available in three variants. The GT starts from Rs 1.31 crore, the Modena at Rs 1.53 crore and the Trofeo at ₹ 2.05 crore, all ex-showroom. The Grecale will compete against the Porsche Macan.
