Mahindra and Mahindra are not easing off the accelerator pedal in the electric vehicle segment as it’s gearing up to launch new variants in the BE 6 and XEV 9e portfolio. The Indian automobile manufacturer is taking feedback from its customers and is quickly offering solutions. Recently, the company updated the middle trim with a bigger battery pack, and now it will introduce new trims in the top version.

Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e: New variants

Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e are predominantly available in three variants—Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three. Apart from the entry-level trim, the other two offer both battery packs—the 59 kWh and the 79 kWh. Express Drives came across the homologation documents revealing that the top model, the Pack Three, and the Pack Three Select are getting new variants with both options.

The BE 6 and the XEV 9e will now get Pack Three Select with a 79 kWh battery, as earlier it only came with the 59 kWh battery. The fully loaded Pack Three trim will come with the smaller 59 kWh.

With multiple options, Mahindra will be covering all the bases and fulfilling the customer’s requirements. If one wants a bigger battery and fewer features, then there is something for them, and if frills and features are something somebody is looking for, then one can opt for a fully loaded EV with a smaller battery.

Charged up the mid-level variants

Recently, Mahindra introduced new variants in the Pack Two level by offering the 79 kWh battery, as many buyers wanted more range and fewer features. Hence, the BE 6 and the XEV 9e are now available with the Pack Two 79 kWh battery.
