Mahindra has officially launched the Thar Roxx, also known as the Thar five-door, with prices starting at Rs 12.99 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 13.99 lakh for the diesel variant (ex-showroom) in the 4×2 MX trim. This new version enhances the three-door Thar’s appeal by adding the practicality of two extra doors and a bench seat in the second row.

The Thar Roxx offers two engine options: a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder mStallion turbo-petrol delivering 160 bhp and 330 Nm of torque, and a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder mHawk diesel generating 150bhp and 330 Nm of torque. Both engines come with a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.
