Mahindra has launched the nine-seater Bolero Neo Plus in the market. In its latest form, the Bolero Neo Plus is available in two variants– P4 and P10— priced at Rs 11.39 lakh and Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Compared to the seven-seater sibling– Bolero Neo– the Neo Plus is expensive by Rs. 1.49 lakh and Rs. 1 lakh for the equivalent variant.
In its previous avatar, the Bolero Neo Plus was sold as TUV300 Plus before it was discontinued in April 2020. The seven-seater TUV300 was relaunched in a rebranded avatar in 2021 as Bolero Neo and now Mahindra has launched its longer sibling as the rebranded Bolero Neo Plus.
Like the TUV300 Plus, the Bolero Neo Plus gets a similar exterior design and interior layout but some additional features on board. Mahindra offers the Bolero Neo Plus solely as a nine-seater with two side-facing bench seats in the third row. The ladder-on-frame SUV is available in three colour options— Napoli Black, Majestic Silver, and Diamond White.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus: Exterior, interior & feature highlights
While the overall design is carried over from the 7-seater Bolero Neo, the nine-seater version gets a revised chrome-slatted grille and trapezoidal air dam with blacked-out mesh internals. The other noticeable difference is the added length and wheelbase which has led to a redesigned glass house. To be specific, the Bolero Neo Plus measures 4,400mm in length, 1,795mm in width, and 1,812mm along with a wheelbase of 2,680mm.
Inside, the interior of Bolero Neo Plus is identical to its seven-seat counterpart with its dual-tone— beige and black— theme. Mahindra has updated the equipment with a revised multifunctional steering wheel similar to the one seen in Thar, a larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display, and new climate control dials.

The 9-inch infotainment screen is a basic unit that offers Bluetooth, Aux, and USB connectivity but misses out on Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other notable creature comforts include USB charging, a 6-speaker sound system, steering-mounted controls, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, front and rear power windows, 12 V charging ports, and remote key entry.
Safety package includes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, dual front fog lamps, reverse parking assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts and rear parking sensors.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus: Powertrain specs & rivals
Powering the Bolero Neo Plus is a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel mill which churns out 118 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission as standard.
While it doesn’t have any direct rivals in the Indian market, Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will lock horns with people movers like Maruti Ertiga, and Kia Carens. However, it is the one of the few passenger vehicles left in India to come as a 9-seater layout.
