Lamborghini’s new flagship model, the Revuelto, will officially debut in India on December 6th. The Revuelto is the successor of the iconic Aventador and will be Lamborghini’s first V12 hybrid plug-in powertrain.
Lamborghini Revuelto: Engine Specifications
Continuing with its legendary 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, the Revuelto gets three electric motors, a double-clutch eight-speed transmission and a 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. According to Lamborghini, the Revuelto has a combined output of 1015bhp while the engine churns out 825bhp with a maximum torque of 725Nm and 350 Nm from each front electric motor. The Revuelto is an all-wheel-drive sports car that accelerates from 0-100 kmoh in 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of more than 350 kmph.
The new L545 engine is the lightest and most powerful 12-cylinder engine ever made by Lamborghini. It only weighs 218 kilograms, 17 kilograms less than the Aventador unit.
Lamborghini Revuelto: Design and Cabin
Revuelto introduces Lamborghini’s new design language, Space Race, which is inspired by aerospace elements. With the shark-nose design in the front along with a carbon-fibre hood and Y-shape daytime running lights, the new Lamborghini also gets aerodynamic blades that connect the splitter to the hood. The side fins, located behind the front wheel arches, channel the airflow along the sides and the pronounced concavities of the doors to the side air intakes, which feature sharp edges that echo the arrows on the front.
With a fully-exposed longitudinal hybrid V12 engine, Revuelto showcases its mechanical heart connected to the double hexagonal exhaust.
Revuelto’s cabin houses an 8.4-inch vertical touchscreen the central air vents and the 8.4” vertical touchscreen, the technological heart of the car. The Revuelto offers a shared driving experience where both the driver and the front passenger can simultaneously view the same information on the displays located in the 12.3-inch digital cockpit on the driver’s side and on the 9.1” display installed on the passenger-side dashboard.
