Kia frequently updates its India lineup in order to stay competitive in the market. The South Korean carmaker is currently preparing to launch the Carens facelift in India which has been spied on a number of occasions in recent months. The crossover MPV was first launched in January 2022 and is due for a mid-cycle facelift in the coming months.

Kia Carens facelift spied: Design

Recent spy shots reveal several subtle changes to the exterior. The front end has undergone a complete overhaul, featuring new LED headlamps connected by a sleek LED strip that stretches across the hood. A redesigned grille with a chrome accent and a larger, blacked-out air dam complete the refreshed look.

While the side profile remains largely unchanged, the Carens now sports new dual-tone, diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rear end is still heavily camouflaged, but it’s safe to assume that Kia will adopt a similar connected LED light bar design as seen on the front. Interestingly, the spy shots reveal that the Carens will come equipped with a 360-degree camera system, thanks to the addition of camera lenses on the ORVMs.
