Jeep has officially started accepting bookings for the Meridian facelift. The Stellantis subsidiary has announced the same on its social media handles along with a couple of teasers for the updated SUV. Earlier this year, Jeep announced the launch of two products in India in 2024, the first was the all-new Wrangler and the second will be facelifted Meridian.
Interested buyers can book the updated Meridian on Jeep India’s official website at a token amount of Rs 50,000. Based on the same platform as Compass, the Meridian made its debut in 2022 and the upcoming facelift will be its first significant update.
Jeep Meridian facelift: What to expect?
From the images shared, it appears more than visual changes, the new Meridian will receive some functional upgrades over the outgoing model. For starters, the current Meridian is solely available with a seven-seat layout but the upcoming iteration will be available in a five-seat configuration as well. This will allow Jeep to price the Meridian quite aggressively. Speaking of which, currently the Meridian is priced between Rs. 31.23 lakh to Rs. 39.83 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 5-seat version of the Meridian will also most likely offer a more generous boot space which presently stands at 170 litres with the seven-seat version. Another big change will be the inclusion of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with features like collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, etc.
The only visual change will be the addition of copper accents in place of the chrome trims on its exterior. Other expected features on board the 2025 Meridian will be a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, Alpine-sourced nine-speaker audio system, a wireless smartphone charger, front ventilated seats, six airbags, 360-degree camera, and tyre pressure monitoring system.
Jeep Meridian facelift: Powertrain
Powering the Jeep Meridian facelift will be the same 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine which kicks out 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. This motor is paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. It will continue to be offered in both 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains.
