The all-new Jeep Grand Commander has just been revealed for China. The seven-seater SUV will make its global debut at Beijing Auto Show in April this year. The new Jeep Grand Commander has a long wheelbase that offers it a solid stance on the roads. The new Commander will remind you of the Jeep Yuntu concept that was showcased in Shanghai last year. The reason being, the bold SUV shares many of its design elements like slim LED headlamps and tail lamps, sharp lines with the said concept model. The Jeep Grand Commander will come with a large sunroof. Besides, the upcoming Jeep will also have a big roof rack. The new Jeep gets a large window glass that extends it till the rear. The new Jeep Grand Commander will most likely source its power from a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission system. The mill should be good for churning out a maximum power output of close to 234 hp. The new Jeep SUV will be available for sale at a price of USD 38,000.
The new Jeep Grand Commander was revealed earlier in design trademark images but now the official set of images give an idea of how exactly the new SUV will look like. The new Jeep Grand Commander also resembles highly from the company’s Grand Cherokee in terms of design.
The availability of the new Jeep Grand Commander is a mystery at the moment. However, with the images getting surfaced, it can be safely assumed that the production of this SUV should not be very far away. There is no clarity as of now as to whether the new Jeep Grand Commander will head to India or not.
