Jeep has launched another special edition model of the Compass. Called the Sandstorm Edition, this limited-run model of the Jeep Compass is priced at Rs 49,999 over the corresponding variant of the regular model and is available for a limited period of time. This special edition gets cosmetic tweaks along with a feature upgrade over the regular Compass.
The Italian-American carmaker is offering the Compass Sandstorm in three trims: Sports, Longitude, and Longitude (O). The Sandstorm Edition comprises a unique and exclusive accessory package offering a distinct visual identity to the mid-size SUV.

Jeep Compass Sandstorm: Exterior & Interior changes
The exterior of the new Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition features exclusive Sandstorm-themed decals on the hood and sides, along with a distinctive Sandstorm badge on the front fender, giving the SUV an indomitable road presence. Inside the cabin, the seats are wrapped in premium seat covers for added comfort.
Further, the Compass Sandstorm benefits from features like programmable ambient lighting, front & rear dash cams for enhanced safety, and carpet & cargo mats. Lastly, a special Sandstorm Badge lends exclusivity to the limited edition variant. Other feature highlights include 10.1-inch infotainment display, instrument cluster with analogue dials and a 7-inch multi-info display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker sound system, second-row AC vents, a wireless phone charger and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Safety features on offer include dual airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, a tire pressure monitoring system, and ISOFIX mounts. Higher-spec Compass models offer additional upgrades such as six airbags and a 360-degree camera, which are not available in this edition.
Jeep Compass Sandstorm: Powertrain
Mechanically, the Compass Sandstorm Edition remains unchanged. It is powered by a 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine that kicks out 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. This motor is paired with either a 6-speed manual or 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
