Jeep has announced a revision of prices for the Compass SUV range in India. According to the latest update, the entry-level Sport variant is now priced at Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). As a result, Jeep Compass has now become more affordable by Rs 1.70 lakh. Jeep says this will make the premium SUV accessible to many more customers.
That said, Jeep has revised prices for other variants of Compass as well. Interestingly, other variants of the premium mid-size SUV have seen a uniform price increment of Rs 14,000. The Compass is available in six variants namely Sport, Longitude, Night Eagle, Limited, and Model S. The updated prices for the Compass are mentioned below.
• Sport: Rs 18.99 lakh
• Longitude: Rs 22.33 lakh
• Night Eagle: Rs 25.18 lakh
• Limited: Rs 26.33 lakh
• Model S: Rs 28.33 lakh
Jeep Compass: Features & specs
Compass is one of the best equipped cars in its segment with features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, ventilated front seats, premium Alpine sound systems, wireless phone charger, 8-way adjustable powered driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof to name few.

In terms of safety, it is loaded with features such as six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and hill start assist.
Jeep offers the Compass exclusively with a 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine since the discontinuation of the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine last year. This oil burner pushes out 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are either carried out by a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox with the latter also offering the options of a 4×4 drivetrain.
