Mahindra’s all-electric SUV, the BE 6, is flying off the shelves, with the company announcing that 10,000 units of both the BE 6 and XEV 9e have been delivered since March 20th. An owner of the BE 6 gave the EV a stunning makeover with a vibrant, bright yellow vinyl wrap that’s turning heads everywhere. The eye-catching yellow BE 6 reel was shared on Instagram by Modzz.kl and Yellowghost_6666, the same duo who previously gave a Toyota Fortuner a flashy yellow wrap makeover.
Bumblebee BE 6: What is it?
According to Modzz.kl and Yellowghost_6666 Instagram handle claims that this is the first yellow coloured BE 6 in India. The bright yellow wraps cover the coloured body panels of the EV starting from the bonnet, bumpers, wheel arches, the roof, doors and the boot.
Mahindra BE 6: Specifications and Range
The Mahindra BE 6, an all-electric SUV, offers two battery options: a 59 kWh pack with a 557km range and a 79 kWh pack with a 682km range. The 59kWh variant produces 228 bhp and 380 Nm torque, while the 79kWh variant churns out 282 bhp with the same torque. The batteries can be recharged from 20% to 80% in 20 minutes using a 175 kW DC fast charger. It also gets an 11 kW AC fast charger, which takes 6 hours and 8 hours to fully recharge the 59 kW and the 79 kW batteries, respectively.
The BE 6 79 kWh version accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 6.7 seconds and includes features like multiple driving and regeneration modes, plus Level 2 ADAS. The BE 6 is available in five variants — Pack One 59 kWh, Pack One Above 59 kWh, Pack Two 50 kWh, Pack Three Select 59 kWh and Pack Three 79 kWh. It’s priced from Rs 19.65 lakh to Rs 27.65 lakh, including Rs 75,000 for the charger.
