Hyundai i20 N Line launched at Rs 9.99 lakh

Hyundai is expanding its performance offering in India with the launch of the new i20 N Line, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh onwards. The new i20 N Line is available with a manual and a DCT gearbox, catering to a wider customer base.

The carmaker says that the new Hyundai i20 N Line draws design inspiration from the WRC car, like the new headlights, while the hatchback runs on 16-inch wheels, while the front grille features the N branding. The new N Line is offered in colours such as Abyss Black (New), Atlas White, Titan Gray, Thunder Blue, Starry Night, Atlas White with Abyss Black Roof, and Thunder Blue with Abyss Black Roof.

Inside, the new i20 N Line features an all-black theme with red accents on the steering, seats, and the gearshift knob. In terms of features, the new Hyundai i20 N Line gets a 7-speaker Bose system with smartphone connectivity, navigation and connected car tech, along with a C-type charger.

The carmaker says that the N Line is offered with 35 standard safety features including 6 Airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Highline, All Disc Brakes and Automatic Headlamps, to name just a few. The three-point seatbelt with seatbelt reminders for all seats adds an extra layer of security.

Powering the new Hyundai i20 N Line is a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 118bhp and 172Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
