Mahindra has been dropping a number of teasers of the upcoming XUV300 facelift periodically over the past couple of weeks. The automaker has been essentially highlighting the new design and all the new features to be offered in the facelifted XUV300 which has been rebranded as a XUV 3XO.
Slated to make its debut on 29 April 2024, let us look at all the new features Mahindra has confirmed will be offered in Mahindra 3XO.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: New infotainment system
The 2024 XUV300 will receive a larger and new 10.2-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system which will now run on the more advanced AdrenoX UI from Mahindra. This infotainment system is likely to pack a whole lot more information and features thanks to a more advanced connected car tech with voice assist commands.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Fully-digital instrument cluster
Besides the new touchscreen infotainment unit, the new XUV 3XO will also receive a new 10.2-inch fully-digital instrument cluster replacing the part-digital and part-analog console in the older model.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Full LED lighting
Mahindra has completely revised the lighting setup on the updated XUV300 which now gets new dual-LED projector headlamps with integrated C-shaped DRLs. The reprofiled front bumper gets new LED fog lamps as well. At the rear, the XUV 3XO hasn’t adopted traditional taillamp clusters but instead gets a new LED DRL strip across the reprofiled tailgate, joining the two C-shaped LED DRLs.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Panoramic sunroof
The upcoming XUV 3XO will be the first subcompact SUV in India to offer a proper dual-pane panoramic sunroof in India. Called the ‘Skyroof’, it is the biggest sunroof opening for a sub-4 metre vehicle in India.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Remote climate control
Although not a first-in-segment feature, the updated XUV300 will now come equipped with remote climate control. This feature allows the user to pre-set the cabin temperature remotely via the AdrenoX smartphone application.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Harman Kardon audio system
The new Mahindra XUV 3XO will benefit from a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system which is expected to offer a much more premium music experience.
Besides the features mentioned-above, the new XUV 3XO is expected to offer creature comforts such as ventilated and powered front seats, wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless smartphone charger, ambient lighting, and a premium audio system.
When it comes to safety, we can expect Mahindra to load it with features such as 6 airbags, electronic stability program, traction control, 360-degree surround camera, and lane watch camera. The new XUV 3XO could also witness the addition of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and join the likes of Venue and Sonet in the segment.
