Hyundai Venue is one of the strongest players in the sub-4 metre SUV/crossover of the Indian passenger vehicle market. First launched in 2019, the subcompact SUV underwent a comprehensive mid-cycle facelift in July 2022. Despite a fall in sales due to a very stiff competition by a long list of rivals, the Venue has managed to hold its ground.

Meanwhile, it seems the Korean auto giant has started working on the next-generation model of Venue. First spy shots of the subcompact SUV in its upcoming avatar have emerged on the internet which reportedly have been clicked in South Korea The spy image shows a fully-camouflaged prototype of the Venue.

2nd-gen Hyundai Venue: Details leaked

Although the test mule is completely wrapped under a camouflage, the images give out plenty of details. For starters, it is clear the SUV undergoes significant exterior changes. The grille up front has been completely redesigned consisting of cuboidal inserts, somewhat reminiscent of the Range Rover models. The grille will be flanked by a split LED lighting setup up front featuring rectangular LED headlamps in the bumper and tri-LED DRLs on top.

The bumper is also reprofiled courtesy of a new air dam. At the sides, the new Venue will roll on 16-inch machine cut alloy wheels that are wrapped inside MRF tyres. The rear end of the upcoming Venue flaunts sleek wraparound LED taillamps. The other big highlights are upright pillars which give the SUV a taller stance.Although not clear but we expect the rear bumper to also be reprofiled.

Hyundai is also expected to add a few gizmos to the new-gen Venue in order to stay competitive with segment rivals.
