2026 Kia Seltos leaked: ICE and EV designs revealed in spy shots

The Kia Seltos EV, spotted during testing, is anticipated to feature two battery options, similar to the Hyundai Creta EV.

It’s an open secret that Kia is working on the 2026 Seltos as it has been caught a couple of times testing. The latest spy images reveal that Kia is testing both the internal combustion engine and the all-electric version. The company may have taken a leaf out of the Hyundai Creta Electric and given the upcoming EV SUV its own unique design. Kindelauto posted images on Instagram of two Seltos sporting different front fascias. Kia is yet to officially confirm that it will offer the Seltos in both ICE and electric versions. 

2026 Kia Seltos: Design

The spy images reveal little details as the Seltos test mule was fully cladded. One of the Seltos has a front grille with vertical slats while the other one has a squarish pattern. The vehicle appeared to have an electric charging port in the front. The SUVs cames with two different sets of dual-tone alloy wheels, a front grille and one gets glossy black finish wheel arches. 

2026 Kia Seltos: Specifications

The Kia Seltos EV is expected to carry forward the two battery packs available in the Creta Electric. The standard version will be powered by a 42 kWh battery with 133 bhp and a range of 390 km as per MIDC Part 1 + Part 2 Cycle. With an 11 kW fast charger, it juices up from 10% – 100% in 4 hours and with a 50 kW DC fast charger, it does 10% to 80% in 58 minutes.

The Long Range version will be powered by a bigger 51.4 kWh battery with an output of 169 bhp. Its driving range (as per MIDC Part 1 + Part 2 Cycle) is 473 km. It can juice up from 10% to 100% with an 11 kW AC fast charger in 4 hours. A 50kW DC fast charger fires up the battery from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes.
