Kia recently introduced the updated Sonet which received some styling updates and feature additions. Barring prices, every detail of the facelifted Sonet is out. Both Sonet and Nexon have distinct designs but their dimensions are in similar ball parks. Both the SUVs have identical length, width and wheelbase of 3,995mm, 1790mm, and 2,500mm, respectively. However, the Brezza is taller than the Brezza which should ideally translate to better headroom. That said, Sonet has a significantly larger boot at 385 litres as compared to 328 litres offered by Brezza.

2024 Kia Sonet Vs Maruti Brezza: Features
Both Sonet and Brezza are two of the most feature-rich cars in this segment with common creature comforts such as LED headlights and DRLs, keyless entry, electric sunroof, wireless phone charging, touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, auto climate control, connected car tech, and 360-degree camera.
Both SUVs also offer a premium audio system– a 7-speaker Bose unit in Sonet and a 6-speaker Arkamys unit in Brezza. However, Sonet outclasses the Brezza with additional features such as ventilated and power adjustable front seats, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and one touch power windows.
However, the biggest addition in the updated Sonet’s arsenal is Level 1 ADAS offering safety functionalities such as lane keep assist, lane follow assist, lane departure warning, collision avoidance assist, etc. It also gets six airbags as standard. The Brezza gets a head-up display over the facelifted Sonet.

Kia Sonet comes with three engine options– two petrol and a diesel– and as many as six gearbox options. Brezza, on the other hand, gets just a petrol engine, which can be specced with an optional factory-fitted CNG kit. The Maruti subcompact SUV is offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter. Therefore, Kia is the clear winner as far as powertrain options are concerned.

2024 Kia Sonet Vs Maruti Brezza: Expected Price
Maruti currently offers the Brezza at prices starting from Rs 8.29 lakh going up to Rs 14.14 lakh. We expect the new Sonet to have a similar starting price but a slightly higher price for the top-spec trim.
