Jeep has announced prices for the 2024 Wrangler in India, which will carry a price tag of Rs 67.65 lakh onwards, ex-showroom. Jeep has received over 100 bookings for the Wrangler and the company says that deliveries will begin mid-May. The 2024 Jeep Wrangler will be available in Unlimited and Rubicon models, the latter priced at Rs 71.65 lakh.
2024 Jeep Wrangler: Platform and design
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler continues to be built on a body-on-frame chassis with a five-link suspension system. The new Wrangler gets four skid plates, and aluminium closures, including doors, hinges, hood, fender flares, windshield frame, and magnesium swing gate. Moreover, the more capable Rubicon models get an electronic front sway-bar disconnect, giving the Jeep more articulation and wheel travel.Â
On the design front, the Wrangler retains its iconic boxy design with the seven-slat grille, round headlight, removable doors, 18-inch alloy wheels, big wheel arches, and more. Nothing has changed, apart from slight cosmetic touches to give it a fresh look.
2024 Jeep Wrangler:Â Interior and features

The interior gets a horizontal layout for the dash, soft-touch surfaces, acoustic front glass, an Active Noise Cancellation system with 7-microphones, a 12.3-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, dual USB Type C ports in the front, a standard 12-volt accessory outlet, and more.
On the safety front, the new Wrangler gets ADAS with Forward Collision Warning with Advanced Brake Assist, Auto High beam Headlamps and Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go functionality. The Jeep also gets ParkSense front and rear park-assist systems with ParkView rear backup camera, while the Rubicon model features an off-road camera with front and rear view. Other features include electronic stability control (ESC) with electronic roll mitigation, standard on both Wrangler models.
2024 Jeep Wrangler: Engine specifications
Powering the new Wrangler is a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine that makes 268 bhp and 400 Nm of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Wrangler retains its part-time 4X4 system with Dana 44 HD full-float solid rear axle, and Tru-Lok front- and rear-axle lockers amongst others.
