Hyundai launched the 2023 i20 facelift which starts from Rs 6.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The facelift version comes with new variants, and features, but is now only available with single-engine petrol options.
2023 Hyundai i20: Solo engine option
Let’s just rip that bandaid off. Hyundai has decided to discontinue the power-packed 1-litre turbo petrol engine. The 2023 i20 will only be available with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which helps Hyundai in aggressively pricing the premium hatchback and take on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The 2023 i20 is mated to two transmission options — a 5-speed manual and a CVT (iVT) automatic. The power output though differs based on the gearbox — the manual churns out 82bhp while the auto pumps out 87bhp. Both have the same 114.7Nm of torque.

2023 Hyundai i20: Price
Broadly speaking, the 2023 i20 is available in four variants — Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta which further get dual-tone trims and the top model comes with Asta (O). Hyundai has launched a new entry-level variant, the Era, in the 2023 i20. All five variants come with a 5-speed manual gearbox while the top two variants, the Sportz and Asta, offer an option for CVT automatic. The i20 is available in six solid colours — Fiery Red, Amazon Grey, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver and Starry Night. Both the Sportz and the Asta trims offer two dual-tone options — Fiery red with black roof and Atlas white with black roof.
