Yamaha Motor India has announced a significant price drop for the YZF-R3, bringing it down by Rs 1.10 lakh. The new price comes into effect starting February 1, making the R3 an even more enticing option for those considering a sports bike in this category.
Yamaha YZF-R3: Price Battle Heats Up
The Yamaha R3 competes with heavy hitters like the KTM RC390 and the Aprilia RS 457. Before this price cut, the R3 was priced at Rs 4.64 lakh, which made it pricier than the Aprilia RS 457, currently available at Rs 4.20 lakh, ex-showroom. On the other hand, the KTM RC 390, priced at Rs 3.21 lakh, had been a more affordable competitor in the segment.
With this price reduction, the Yamaha YZF-R3 now offers better value for money while maintaining its premium sports tourer appeal.
